Track Forever Events Management let users register, track and regulate real time events using GSM/GPS enabled vehicles. Users can make notes of the situation. However, system automatically logs activity and generate event reports. Users may search previously registered events and refer to the GPS and alerts history to get more insight of the situation.
In order to register and track events:
Select the “Track Events” menu item option from the “Asset Management” menu as shown in figure below.
This will load “Event Tracking Form” as shown in figure below.

“Track
Forever” allows 2 types of events tracking, stationary event tracking, and a
moving event tracking.
Stationary
event tracking is important to register events like meetings, land security, emergency and
other similar events. For example, in case of a news channel, the channel might
want to send their vehicle to an event point and at the same time they want to
monitor as it happens.
Moving
event is important for security escorts, in this type of events; an important
vehicle is assigned one or more other security vehicles with defined radial
perimeter, now if any of the security vehicles moves away from the important
vehicle, system generate alerts and as well as make logs.
In order to register and start GPS based event tracking:
- Right click on “Events & Vehicles” list under “Events” tab; a context menu will pop up as shown in following figure. The context menu highlights the operations that can be performed about events.
Using above context menu user can register, edit and close an event. On successful event registration user may also scan and assign nearest vehicles to the event. Following diagram shows a registered event and assigned vehicles. The event (or emergency) area is highlighted by a red circle while vehicles are moving toward the event area.
